Temporary School Cleaner (Retford)

Job Title: School Cleaner (Temporary Position)
Location: Retford, Nottinghamshire
Rate of Pay: £13.64 to 15.00 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Hours: Flexible

We are looking for a School Cleaner to join our team supporting local schools in the area of Retford, Nottinghamshire.

This temporary position offers the opportunity to support local schools to Retford by maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the school premises.

Key Details:

• School Cleaner role based in Retford
• £13.64 to £15.00 per hour (including holiday pay and paid via PAYE)
• Flexible hours
• Ideal for those with at least 6 months of cleaning experience, preferably in a school setting
• An Enhanced DBS Certificate is required

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months cleaning experience, ideally within a school setting
• Relevant training in the use of cleaning chemicals and health and safety

• Ability to provide references covering the last 24 months of employment
• School Cleaner applicants should either possess or be willing to complete up-to-date safeguarding training
• All applicants will undergo vetting checks as per the Department for Education's Safer Recruitment guidelines prior to starting work.

Education and Training: Applicants should either have up-to-date safeguarding training, or be willing to complete it. Ongoing education and training in health and safety and cleaning standards is beneficial.
