The Supply Register Ltd. is recruiting school cleaners to work in Peterborough. The role runs Monday to Friday from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, with hours that may vary.

You will help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming learning environment across partner schools. Applicants should have or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS, provide two recent references, and bring reliability and attention to detail. Prior school or commercial cleaning is valued, with ongoing support and flexible part-time

Qualifikationen

• Must have DBS check or be willing to apply for one.
• Must provide two professional references covering the last 24 months.
• Previous cleaning or caretaker experience in a school or commercial setting is ideal, though a strong work ethic and attention to detail are most important.

Aufgaben

• Undertake cleaning duties such as vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, mopping and polishing in classrooms, corridors and communal areas.
• Clean and sanitise washrooms, toilets and kitchen facilities to high hygiene standards.
• Safely handle, use and store cleaning equipment and chemicals in line with health and safety regulations.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish correctly and responsibly.
• Report maintenance issues, repairs or hazards to the appropriate school personnel.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, hygiene and COSHH regulations at all times.
• Undertake duties as directed by Premises Manager or School Leadership.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Undertake cleaning duties such as vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, mopping, and polishing in designated classrooms, corridors, and communal areas.
• Clean and sanitize washrooms, toilets, and kitchen facilities to high hygiene standards.
• Safely handle, use, and store cleaning equipment and chemical products in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish correctly and responsibly.
• Report any maintenance issues, repairs, or hazards immediately to the appropriate school personnel.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, hygiene, and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations at all times.
• Undertake such duties as may be considered appropriate by the Premises Manager or School Leadership in line with the needs of the service.

Requirements

• Must have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
• Must be able to provide two professional references which cover the last 24 months of work/study periods.
• Previous cleaning or caretaker experience within a school or commercial setting is ideal, though a strong work ethic and attention to detail are most important.
