Job summary

Academics Ltd are recruiting a reliable School Cleaner for a Dartford-based secondary school. The role is part-time, term-time only, Monday to Friday 3:00pm–6:00pm, start ASAP.

The position offers £14.24 per hour with potential for ongoing work and support from the Academics Ltd team to maintain a clean, safe school environment.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school, office or commercial environment.
• Strong eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• The ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain a new Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets and communal areas.
• Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and dusting throughout the school.
• Emptying bins and replenishing consumables where required.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Following health and safety procedures and COSHH guidelines.
• Reporting maintenance, cleaning or health and safety concerns to the Site Team.
• Working independently and as part of the wider cleaning team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced cleaner looking for a part-time, term-time only role, working Monday to Friday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets and communal areas.
• Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and dusting throughout the school.
• Emptying bins and replenishing consumables where required.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
