Job Opportunity: School Cleaner

We are looking to recruit a School Cleaner for one of Nexgen's School partners in the Epsom & Ewell, KT17 area.

• Monday to Friday
• 3:30pm - 6pm
• 12.5 hours a week
• £12.21 per hour

Core Responsibilities - Cleaning Operative / Cleaner:

• Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames
• Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops
• Mop floors with wet or damp mops
• Vacuum carpeted areas
• Empty waste bins or similar receptacles, transport waste to collection points
• Mix cleaning supplies in correct quantities for safe use
• Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, paper towels
• Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks

What are we looking for?

• Prior professional cleaning experience
• IT literacy (use of tablets, smartphones, apps)
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)
• Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
