Job summary

Wellspring Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated cleaner to join our friendly team. You will keep classrooms, offices and washrooms fresh and tidy.

No experience required and full training is provided from day one. We value reliability, teamwork and a strong work ethic, with ongoing training and support in a local community setting.

You should be comfortable with physical work, able to work independently, and follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out everyday cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and emptying bins.
• Sanitising washrooms and keeping hygiene supplies fully stocked.
• Using cleaning equipment and products safely with training provided on Health & Safety and COSHH.
• Carrying out occasional deep cleans during school holiday periods.
• Helping lock or unlock the site and keeping the school premises secure.
• A reliable, hardworking individual who takes pride in a job well done.
• Someone comfortable doing physical work (lifting, carrying and active movement).
• A great team player who can also work well independently and follow instructions.
• Someone committed to creating a safe environment for pupils and staff.
