Job summary

Impact Food Group (IFG) is hiring a Chef at Nunnery Wood High School, Worcester. You will support the onsite Chef Manager in delivering high-quality meals for students and staff during term-time and inset days.

Working 35 hours per week (7am-2.30pm), Monday to Friday, with 37 weeks per year. The role offers no evenings or weekends, free meals on shift, training and career progression opportunities, and a commitment to high food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a chef, ideally within a school or contract catering environment.
• Passion for cooking with fresh ingredients and quality food.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of main meals and snacks
• Cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients for high-volume service (200+ covers)
• Supporting with occasional counter service and till work
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen and dining environment
