Job Opportunity: Chef

We are currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week. As a Chef, you will prepare and serve food that brightens our clients' and customers' days within the UK’s market-leading food service company. Note: This role is contracted for 43 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality, delicious food that delights customers
• Oversee and implement menu changes
• Identify opportunities to enhance food services
• Act on customer feedback for continuous improvement
• Assist in creating new menus and food concepts
• Represent Chartwells and uphold a positive brand image
• Manage inventory to ensure well-stocked kitchens
• Maintain hygiene standards through cleaning responsibilities
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Safety regulations

Ideal Candidate:

• Passionate about great-tasting food and customer service
• Possess a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
• Experience supervising a team
• Experience in a similar Chef role
• Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
• Flexible approach to working hours
