Job summary

Schools’ Choice is hiring a Kitchen Assistant at Brinsley Primary & Nursery (NG16 5AZ) to work 8:15am–1:15pm, Monday to Friday. This part-time role covers 25 hours per week across 39.2 weeks per year, supporting the preparation and serving of high-quality school meals and helping ensure smooth kitchen operations.

You will work with colleagues to maintain service standards, follow food safety and hygiene practices, assist with stock control, and keep the kitchen clean.

About the Role:

Based at Brinsley Primary & Nursery, NG16 5AZ, you will be working 8:15am to 1:15pm, Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week, 39.2 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in preparing and serving high quality school meals while supporting the smooth day to day operation of the kitchen.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the daily operation of the kitchen and maintaining service standards
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure an efficient catering service
• Following food safety, hygiene and Health and Safety requirements
