Job summary

Caterlink Ltd is recruiting a Catering Manager at Monkton, Ramsgate, to deliver nutritionally balanced, tasty meals for students during term-time with no weekend work. The role covers day-to-day site operations and leading a team to maintain high standards of food quality and service.

You will manage inventories and budgets, liaise with the client in your school, and monitor KPIs with your line manager. The role offers learning opportunities including apprenticeships and eLearning.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a catering operation is desirable.
• Ability to lead and train foodservice teams.
• Good understanding of health and safety in a food environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure location meets Health & Safety, Food Safety and related laws.
• Maintain Caterlink’s reputation for excellent food and service.
• Run day-to-day operations, supervise teams, manage inventories and budgets.
• Be the main client contact in the school and implement improvements.
• Monitor KPIs and financial targets with line manager.
• Support and train teams, ensuring training and performance records are kept.
