Job summary

GORSE is seeking a Catering Manager to lead the in-house catering service at Richmond Hill Academy. You will oversee the daily kitchen and dining operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service for students, staff and visitors.

The role requires experience in busy catering environments, strong leadership, and knowledge of HACCP practices. A Level 2 Food Safety certificate is expected, with a willingness to progress to Level 3; hybrid working is not specified.

Qualifications

Experience in busy catering or kitchen environments.
Experience managing food preparation, service and display.
Knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP and hygiene standards.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to lead, motivate and develop a small team.
Experience with stock control, ordering and budget monitoring.
