Job summary

Miquill in Willenhall is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our kitchen team. You will be the friendly face serving tasty, nutritious meals to students and staff, while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will help with meal preparation, operate tills after full training, and ensure a sparkling clean kitchen. We prioritise safety and Food Hygiene, with full training provided; Health & Safety policy followed. 38 weeks per year with weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Friendly and versatile personality, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to engage with staff and students.
• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety practices; Food Hygiene Level 2 preferred, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a dynamic team to create a welcoming dining experience for students and staff.
• Assisting with preparing and serving meals.
• Operating tills (full training provided).
• Maintaining a sparkling clean kitchen and dining area at all times.
• Strictly adhering to safety guidelines, including Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies.
