Job summary

Miquill is seeking a Relief Catering Assistant to join our friendly kitchen team in Uttoxeter. You'll provide excellent customer service, assist in meal prep, and serve nutritious meals at multiple schools within your region.

The role is Monday to Friday, 16 hours per week, term-time (38 weeks per year), with DBS disclosure and full UK driving licence required for travel between sites. Training is provided, and the hourly rate is £13.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence to travel between schools.
• Excellent customer service and a friendly, versatile personality.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced school catering environment.
• Food hygiene awareness with Level 2 preferred.
• Training provided for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a dynamic team to create a fun dining experience for students and staff.
• Assist with preparing and serving meals.
• Operate tills (full training provided).
• Maintain a sparkling clean kitchen at all times.
• Follow safety guidelines including Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies.
