Job summary

Sodexo at Sevenoaks School, Sevenoaks, TN13 1HU, is seeking a General Catering Assistant. You will help prepare and serve food to our standards, maintain cleanliness, and keep work areas orderly and hygienic. Working 34 hours per week on a pattern of Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 8am to 4pm, term-time pay applies.

Qualifications

• Positive and reliable attitude.

• Previous catering experience helpful but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and serving of food to Sodexo standards.
• Maintain clean, safe and hygienic kitchen and dining areas.
• Know allergen information prior to service.
• Assist in loading service counters and ensure sufficient supplies.
• Occasionally support at special functions or outside hours.
• Relieve in other local units when needed during sickness.
• Replenish food displays and service counters.
• Follow food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
• Provide friendly and helpful service to customers and colleagues.
