King’s College School Wimbledon in London is recruiting a General Catering Assistant to join a team of 38 in the catering department. The role supports the delivery of lunches to over 1,750 people daily during term time and at school events throughout the term.

This term-time only position is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £25,716 plus excellent benefits including contributory pension, health benefits, free gym membership and free lunch during term-time.

Qualifications

• The ability to work within a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good communication skills with an approachable manner around pupils and staff.
• Experience in catering is desirable; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist delivery of lunches to over 1,750 people daily during term time.
• Support catering operations during regular school functions.
