Job summary

Hertfordshire Catering Ltd (HCL) is seeking a part-time Catering Assistant to work at Whipperley Infant Academy School. The role involves helping with food prep, serving meals to children, receiving deliveries, and maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area.

The successful candidate will uphold safeguarding standards, have food hygiene awareness (level 2 preferred), and deliver high-quality customer service with punctuality and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, cooking and serve meals to children
• Adhering with Health & Safety regulations
• Receiving, checking, and organising supplier deliveries
• Carry out washing-up duties, maintain a clean hygienic kitchen and dining area
• Representing HCL and reflecting our values in everything you do
