Job summary

Miquill is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our school dining team in Sutton Coldfield. This 20-hour per week role operates Monday to Friday during term-time (38 weeks a year) with no weekend work and a DBS disclosure will be sought.

You’ll deliver friendly, high-quality service, help prepare and serve meals, operate tills with full training, and keep the kitchen spotless while following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Friendly and versatile personality for a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Previous catering experience is a bonus, but training is provided.
• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 preferred, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a dynamic team to create a fun and unique dining experience for students and staff.
• Assisting with preparing and serving our delicious meals.
• Operating tills (full training provided)
• Ensuring a sparkling clean kitchen environment at all times
• Strictly adhering to all safety guidelines, including Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policy
