Stirling Council is seeking a part‑time catering assistant for Balfron High School to support food preparation, service and kitchen hygiene. The role requires PVG clearance and offers on‑the‑job training.

Flexible working options may apply where the role allows, with the service moving locations as required. A £9,476 salary is on offer for 15 hours per week, with incremental learning opportunities and staff development.

Qualifications

• PVG scheme membership for Children is required.
• Training on the job and compulsory off‑the‑job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and basic cooking.
• Food service and portion control.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and health & safety.
• Ensure compliance with the Food Safety Act and Health & Safety at Work Act.
