Job summary

Stirling Council is seeking a Catering Assistant for Balfron Nursery. You will help with food preparation, basic cooking, and serving, while upholding strict kitchen hygiene and safety standards. Training on the job is provided.

The role requires PVG clearance for working with children. It may involve moving between locations within the service, and flexibility is valued to support service needs. Applications welcome from all backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Experience in Catering is not essential as training on job and compulsory off job training will be provided.
• PVG for Children required; details to be checked after interview.
• Initially based at one location but may move within the service with notice.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and assist with basic cooking.
• Provide food service to customers.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and comply with Food Safety and Health & Safety at Work Act.
