Job summary

Wilson Vale is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join a busy school catering team in Harrogate. The role is permanent, 37.5 hours per week, on a 7-day shift pattern (7am–3pm or 11:30am–7:30pm) across term-time and school holidays for lettings and events.

You’ll help with breakfast, lunch and supper service for around 450 people daily, supporting a team of 17 with setup, serving, clearing and occasional food prep.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience is required.
• Friendly, reliable and enjoys working as part of a team in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve breakfast, lunch and supper to staff and pupils.
• Set up, serve, clear and clean during service and events.
• Support with hospitality and functions, including food preparation and washing up as needed.
