Job summary

Aspens Services Ltd in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Catering Assistant to support our school kitchen with basic food preparation and friendly service during the lunchtime rush. You will work on the tills during service and help keep the kitchen clean and safe.

We offer training, a Monday–Friday term-time schedule (12.5 hours/week, 37.6 weeks/year) at £12.71 per hour, and DBS disclosure as part of our safeguarding commitment. This is a great entry route into education catering.

Qualifications

• Team player who thrives in a busy kitchen.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices preferred.
• Experience in catering or fast-paced service is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation and food service.
• Operate tills during service and support frontline service.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant kitchen environment.
