Job summary

Impact Food Group (IFG) is a leading school catering provider in England, serving around one million students daily across more than 1,500 schools. We’re hiring a Catering Assistant to join our team at Buntingford First School.

Working Monday to Friday, 10am–2pm (20 hours per week) during term time (38 weeks). Salary £10,676.40 per annum. You’ll help prepare food, serve customers at the counter, operate the till, and keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills (preferred).
• Experience in catering or retail is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service.
• Assist in preparing food and snacks for the site.
• Serve customers at the counter and operate the till.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
