Job summary

Impact Food Group (IFG) is hiring a Catering Assistant at Seaford Head Upper School. Work Monday to Friday, 10am-2pm, 20 hours per week during term time, supporting the catering team to provide friendly, efficient service and safe, hygienic meal service.

You’ll help prepare food and snacks, serve customers at the till, and keep dining areas clean. The role offers a pro-rata annual salary of £10,422.20, with a benefits package including free meals on shift and access to training and development.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills, ideally from catering or retail backgrounds.
• Able to assist in food preparation and service while maintaining hygiene.
• Experience with till/cash handling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service.
• Assist in preparing food and snacks for the site.
• Serve customers at the counter and operate the till.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
