Job summary

Berkeley Scott is recruiting Kitchen Porters and Catering Assistants to work at multiple sites across Edinburgh. Opportunities include events, stadiums, hotels, schools and offices. Immediate starts and regular ongoing work, with flexible shifts and weekly pay.

Ideal candidates will have Kitchen Porter, KP, or Catering Assistant experience, a Food Safety Qualification (or willingness to obtain one), and excellent communication and organisational skills. DBS/PVG disclosure is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Working in busy production kitchens.
• Assisting with basic food preparation and service.
• Assisting with the clear down and closure of the kitchen.
• Use of large and small dishwashers, and washing by hand when required.
• Maintaining the overall cleanliness of the kitchens and supporting the Head Chef.

The Role includes

• Working in busy production kitchens
