Job Description:

Your new role: Hays Education is working with a number of schools based in Nottingham who are looking for a Caretaker to start as soon as possible. The position will be from Monday to Friday, but the hours may vary from school to school. The roles will initially be on a temporary basis, but with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. Your responsibilities will include:

1. General grounds and building maintenance
2. Minor repair work, such as changing light bulbs
3. Ensuring heating, lighting, and alarm systems are functioning properly
4. Responsibility for building keys – locking and unlocking as required

What you'll need to succeed

1. Experience in managing premises or maintenance, ideally in a school setting
2. Possess an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
3. Be reliable, resilient, and hardworking
