Hays Education is working with a number of schools based in Leicester that are looking for a Caretaker to start as soon as possible. The position will be from Monday to Friday, with hours that may vary from school to school. These roles will initially be temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Responsibilities will include:

1. General grounds and building maintenance
2. Minor repair work, such as changing light bulbs
3. Ensuring heating, lighting, and alarm systems are operational
4. Managing building keys – locking and unlocking as required

Requirements:

1. Experience in managing premises or maintenance, ideally in a school setting
2. Possession of an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply for one
3. Reliability, resilience, and a hardworking attitude
