Qualifications

• Previous caretaking, facilities or maintenance experience is beneficial.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Complete general maintenance tasks and minor repairs.
• Inspect buildings and grounds for defects and safety concerns.
• Assist with opening and securing the premises as required.
• Maintain tidy and safe entrances, corridors and communal spaces.
• Report significant maintenance issues and arrange further attention.
• Help move furniture and prepare rooms for school activities.
• Assist with deliveries and the storage of equipment.
• Monitor site security and report any concerns.
• Support contractors and external maintenance teams.
• Follow health and safety procedures and school policies.
