Job summary

Mitie is seeking a School Caretaker at Glen Urquhart High School, Drumnadrochit. You will deliver high service standards, adhere to cleaning schedules, and meet SLA requirements. The role is permanent, full-time, with 40 hours weekly at a school location in Scotland, offering an hourly rate of £13.31.

You will handle training, equipment maintenance, building security, and after-hours support, with a DBS check and references required. Prior caretaking is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Undertake all required training and follow Mitie's Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies.
• Maintain equipment in clean, safe working order and understand all cleaning materials and chemicals used.
• Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, security, and safety of school premises and grounds.
• Respond to helpdesk jobs, unlock/lock buildings, and carry out porterage and room setups.
• Perform PPM tasks including fire alarm tests, emergency light checks, and support out-of-hours building use.
