Are you a maintenance professional seeking a career within a school setting? Aspire People are currently recruiting maintenance professionals for Primary and Secondary schools across Walsall. Roles vary in hours, with some working on a split shift basis. We have a variety of temporary and more permanent roles available.

Please note: Only applicants with prior School Caretaker experience in a relevant role will be considered.

Responsibilities include:

1. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the school
2. Ensure specified maintenance tasks are carried out
3. Perform various cleaning tasks and inspections
4. Report and record any repairs and ensure they are completed safely and promptly
5. Conduct fire alarm testing
6. Open and lock premises

Requirements: You will be required to fully register with us, including providing right to work documents and obtaining an enhanced Child Workforce DBS (unless you already have one registered on the Update Service).
