Job summary

St Stephen’s Church School, part of the Bath & Wells Multi Academy Trust, is seeking a dedicated Caretaker to maintain safety, cleanliness and the general upkeep of our school buildings and grounds.

This 30 hours per week role operates Monday to Friday with some flexibility on timings and offers All Year Round Pay at SCP 6–10. You will collaborate with the Office Manager and Headteacher, applying DIY skills in repairs, decorating and maintenance to support the welfare of children and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be well organised and proactive.
• Hardworking and flexible to meet the needs of children and the school.
• Able to use DIY skills for general repairs, maintenance and decorating.
• A good communicator and positive character.
• Committed to safeguarding and the safety and wellbeing of children and staff.

What we are looking for

St Stephen’s Church School are looking to appoint a dedicated, motivated and reliable Caretaker to join our wonderful school community. As Caretaker you will work closely with the Office Manager and Headteacher. You will have responsibility for the safety, general maintenance and cleanliness of our school buildings and grounds to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for our whole community.
