Job summary

Baylis Court Nursery School and Slough Centre Nursery School are seeking a reliable Caretaker to join our team. This role covers both sites, working 37 hours per week to keep the buildings safe, secure, clean and well-maintained for children, staff and visitors.

The post is a fixed-term contract for one year, salary £27,920–£29,694, Level 4, SCP 8–12, dependent on experience. Visits to both schools are welcomed via the school office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, secure, clean and well‑maintained sites across both Baylis Court Nursery School and Slough Centre Nursery School.
• Support day-to-day running by addressing maintenance needs and performing safety checks.

This is a key role in ensuring our school environments are safe, secure, clean and well-maintained for our children, staff and visitors. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining high standards across both sites and will play an important part in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the schools.
