Job summary

Stanton Vale School is seeking a School Care Assistant to supervise pupils throughout the day. This term-time role is 25 hours per week maximum across 39 weeks, with a supportive team culture and a focus on pupil wellbeing.

We welcome applicants who enjoy working with children and young people; knowledge of autism and learning difficulties is desirable but not essential. The post includes a strong pension, holiday entitlement, and health benefits.

Job Title: School Care Assistant

Location: Stanton Vale School

Grade/Scale: Support Pay Scale - Grade 5 (Points 4-5), Actual Salary £15,116 - £15,355 per annum

Contract: 25 hours per week maximum (variable hours available), 39 weeks (term time only)

We are looking to appoint a School Care Assistant (SCA) for the supervision of pupils throughout the day.

Applicants should enjoy working with children and young people and be able to work as part of a team. Knowledge of working with children and young people with autism, learning difficulties and/or challenging behaviour is desirable but not a necessity.
