Job summary

Carmarthenshire County Council in Cross Hands is seeking a Breakfast Supervisor to oversee pupils on arrival and during service. The role is 3 hours 45 minutes per week, 45 minutes per day, with an hourly rate of £13.81 and term-time only working 38 weeks.

Working before 9am, the post uses an annualised pay scheme so pay is spread over 52 weeks. DBS required; Welsh language level Level 2 is requested, and a basic level of Welsh will be supported at appointment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising children.
• Knowledge of basic food safety.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Ability to build good relationships with adults and children.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pupils on arrival and during service.
• Assist with serving refreshments and dining room duties (clearing and wiping tables).
• Work as part of a team to support breakfast service.
