Danecourt Is Hiring: A Social Work Role That’s As Unique As the Children You’ll Support
Are you a passionate Social Worker ready to make a meaningful difference? At Danecourt School, we offer a unique opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to support children with special educational needs (SEN) in a nurturing, inclusive, and forward-thinking environment.
Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks a year (term-time may be considered for the right candidate)
As a School-Based Social Worker, you’ll:
Support pupils with emotional well-being and resilience strategies
Work collaboratively with school staff to deliver personalised interventions
Partner with families to provide advice and advocacy
Liaise with external professionals to coordinate holistic support
What We’re Looking For:
A Social Worker who is:
Qualified and registered with Social Work England
Experienced in working with children, especially those with SEN
Skilled at building strong relationships with families and partners
Empathetic, proactive, and driven to create positive change
