Grange School in Manchester is seeking a permanent Occupational Therapist to join its specialist educational team. The role is 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days, with a starting salary of £33,123 (FTE £38,510, Grade 7).

Qualifications

• Holds a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Registered with HCPC.
• Holds a full driving licence.
• Experience managing a caseload and delivering OT interventions.
• Experience with children/YP with SEND, esp. autism.
• Able to assess, analyse and respond to complex needs.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess pupils' functional, educational, social and physical needs.
• Design and deliver OT programmes for pupils.
• Provide direct 1:1 therapy interventions.
• Advise on and support use of specialist equipment.
• Monitor and review therapy plans for positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with staff, parents and external agencies.
• Contribute to statutory assessments and MDT planning.
• Support training and development of colleagues.
