Job summary

Father Hudson’s Caritas is seeking an experienced Family Support Worker to deliver school-based support for children and families across three primary schools in Birmingham. You will work in schools or at homes, collaborating with school staff and external agencies to tailor interventions that strengthen resilience and improve outcomes.

This full-year role requires a full driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based family support to children and families across three primary schools within a MAC.
• Collaborate with schools, health and social care agencies, and the voluntary sector to deliver tailored interventions.
• Support children’s emotional wellbeing, mental health and educational achievement.
• Travel between sites in Birmingham and work during some school holiday periods.
