Job summary

Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Community Research Assistant for a 12-month contract to support the Age of Wonder study across Bradford schools and community settings. The role involves recruiting participants and collecting data to help improve child health and well-being.

The successful candidate will work with the Born in Bradford research studies, coordinating with families, schools and health professionals.

Qualifications

• Experience in a community setting.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Experience in research data collection.
• Phlebotomy training to be completed within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and consent participants, mainly in schools and community settings.
• Conduct semi-structured interviews and collect data.
• Take growth and health-related measurements where required.
• Assist with blood sample collection as part of the data collection process.
