Job summary

Brighton & Hove Albion Foundation is seeking a Community Champion to inspire and support students across Sussex. You will deliver lessons, mentor pupils, and foster safe, inclusive spaces, while coordinating with school staff and our Foundation team.

Role is part-time (21 hours/week) with a pro rata salary around £25–28k full-time equivalent, and UK-based working in Brighton and across local schools. Benefits include progression opportunities and access to training.

Qualifications

• Ability to engage with young people in classroom and school settings.
• Experience mentoring groups or individuals is desirable.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with pupils, teachers and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cross-curriculum lessons focused on personal development and wellbeing.
• Provide 1-1 and small-group mentoring to students.
• Create inclusive environments and support pupil progression.
