Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Sandwell is seeking a Specialist Educational Mental Health Practitioner (CBT) to join the Reflexions team across the Black Country. The post holder will provide assessments, develop school-based mental health strategies, and support staff and carers. Travel across the Black Country may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience working with children and young people.
• CBT qualification with BABCP accreditation or working towards it.
• Experience of working in schools/colleges and multi‑agency collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Carry out in-depth mental health assessments including risk assessments where required.
• Serve as link between the team and educational settings to ensure appropriate care.
• Provide support to families/carers and other professionals involved with the child/young person.
• Develop and contribute to whole-school approaches to mental health.
