Job summary

Outwood Grange Academies Trust is seeking an Attendance Officer to support across Adwick, Danum, Carlton, Shafton and Hemsworth. The role focuses on improving attendance through school-wide strategies, home visits, and late gate patrols, with strong liaison to staff, parents and external agencies.

You will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday term-time plus five days, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will demonstrate resilience, effective communication, and a commitment

Qualifications

• Experience in school attendance or safeguarding is desirable.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with students, families and staff.
• Ability to conduct home visits and coordinate with multi-agency partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead whole-school attendance strategies to reduce persistent absences.
• Conduct home visits and late gate patrols.
• Provide administrative support and liaise with Senior Leadership Team.
