Job summary

Flegg High Ormiston Academy is seeking an Attendance Officer to promote attendance and punctuality across the school. You will work with pupils, families and staff to remove barriers to attendance and ensure pupils are safe and engaged in learning.

You will monitor attendance data, run group work and interventions, and collaborate with Norfolk County Council and local partners to support vulnerable children and young people.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable children or young people is advantageous.
• Experience with attendance data and analysis is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Promote excellent attendance and punctuality across the school.
• Contact families by phone, letters, and home visits to remove barriers to attendance.
• Dig into attendance data to spot patterns and target interventions.
• Work with multi-agency teams to support pupils and families.
