The Lime Trees is seeking an experienced school administrator for a busy special school in North East London. The role is temporary, initially for a term with potential extension, combining school administration, front‑of‑house, and daily running tasks.
You will be a main point of contact for staff, parents and visitors, supporting smooth daily operations, coordinating morning staff cover from 7:30am, and maintaining records and HR‑related admin.
LTE Search is supporting a well-established, maintained special school in North East London supporting around 200 children and young people with autism. The school is looking for an experienced, confident administrator to join its busy team on a temporary basis, initially for at least one term with the potential to extend. This is a varied role combining school administration, front-of-house and day-to-day school operations, with the opportunity to become a key part of the wider school team.
You'll be one of the main points of contact for the school, working closely with staff, parents and visitors while supporting the smooth running of the school each day.

We're looking for someone who is confident, organised and personable, with the ability to stay calm and take initiative in a busy school environment.
SEND or specialist school experience would be a significant advantage, particularly experience working with children and young people with autism.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on, people-focused and involved in the day-to-day running of a school.
The school is looking to appoint as soon as possible.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All appointments are subject to appropriate pre-employment checks, including Enhanced DBS, satisfactory references, online checks and overseas police checks where required.
Previous experience working in a UK school is essential for this position. Applicants without school-based administrative experience will not be considered. Experience within a SEND or specialist setting would be a significant advantage.
