About The Role

School Office Administrator St Mary’s CE Primary School

Salary Grade: SC 4

Actual Salary Range: £31,434-£32,817 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Part Time, 20 hours per week, 1.00-5.00

Start Date: 1st September 2025

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, and skilled school office administrator who has the vision, experience and forward thinking ideas to further enhance our school office.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Skills, knowledge and understanding of supporting the smooth and effective running of a school office

  • A positive attitude with a ‘can do’ approach

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Resilience, resourcefulness and initiative

  • An excellent approach to organisation and flexibility

  • An excellent understanding and record of working in a primary school setting

  • A commitment to our community partnerships with families, governors and the wider community

  • A commitment to whole school improvement such as attendance

  • Capacity to develop the skills to maintain and update the school website

  • Calm confidence and a sense of humour

  • A support for the Christian ethos of the school
