Trust Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive Primary School seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join their busy school office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing excellent administrative support.


The Role

As the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. You'll be responsible for a range of administrative duties while maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere.


Key Responsibilities include -


  • Welcoming visitors, parents, and pupils to the school

  • Answering and directing telephone calls and responding to emails

  • Managing attendance records and pupil information

  • Maintaining accurate school records and filing systems

  • Supporting with admissions and pupil data

  • Preparing letters, reports, and general correspondence

  • Ordering stationery and office supplies

  • Processing invoices and handling general finance administration where required

  • Supporting the Senior Leadership Team with administrative tasks

  • Using school management systems such as SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or ScholarPack (desirable)

  • Ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times


The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:



  • Has previous administrative experience, ideally within a school environment

  • Has excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Is highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Can prioritise a busy workload and work independently

  • Is confident using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Has experience using school management systems (SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or ScholarPack) or is willing to learn

  • Has a professional, friendly, and approachable manner

  • Understands the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality
