Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment is seeking an experienced BMS Service Engineer with strong Schneider Electric experience to work across commercial and critical environments in the UK. The role focuses on PPM and reactive service, fault finding, and ECO Struxure Building Operation (EBO) support.

Responsibilities include software modifications, commissioning, and diagnostics across AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, chillers and pumps, with customer-facing support and thorough service reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in BMS servicing and control engineering.
• Strong Schneider Electric BMS experience.
• EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO) exposure.
• Well-rounded HVAC controls knowledge.
• Robust fault-finding skills in BMS environments.
• Experience with BACnet / Modbus protocols.
• Ability to read control schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform PPM and reactive BMS service across sites.
• Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on BMS systems.
• Work with Schneider Electric EBO to modify software, graphics, alarms and trends.
• Commission and optimise BMS installations.
• Diagnose faults on AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, chillers, boilers and pumps.
• Provide customer-facing technical support and document service reports.

BMS Service Engineer

£50,000-£60,000 + Pension + Bonus + Car + Benefits

We're looking for an experienced BMS Service Engineer with strong Schneider Electric experience to work across commercial and critical environments.

The role:

• PPM and reactive BMS service
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Schneider EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO)
• Software modifications, graphics, alarms and trends
• Commissioning and optimisation
• Fault finding across AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, chillers, boilers and pumps
• Working with Schneider controllers, sensors, actuators and valves
• Customer-facing technical support
• Completing service reports and documentation

Looking for:

• BMS Service / Controls Engineering experience
• Strong Schneider Electric BMS experience
• EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO) experience
• Good HVAC controls knowledge
• Strong BMS fault-finding skills
• Experience with BACnet / Modbus
• Ability to read control schematics and drawings
• Full UK driving licence

Experience across commercial buildings, healthcare, data centres or other critical environments would be beneficial.
