Job summary

Ecclesiastical Insurance, part of Benefact Group, seeks a Schemes Development Underwriter to join our Gloucester office. You’ll manage a portfolio of schemes, develop account plans, and build strong broker relationships to drive growth and underwriting performance.

Qualifications

• DIP CII qualified or commitment to achieve within a given timeframe.
• Proven insurance underwriting and sales experience across different sectors of the market, particularly commercial insurance.
• Proven ability to build, manage and influence effective relationships with brokers, partners and stakeholders at all levels, with experience of managing and influencing internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to interpret performance information, identify trends and implement effective actions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and decision-making skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and balance customer, commercial and risk considerations.

What You'll Be Doing
