Job summary

Once For All Limited is seeking a Scheme Trainer to design, deliver and continuously improve training for verifications and assessments. You will shape content across face-to-face, virtual and e-learning formats, ensuring compliance with scheme rules and regulatory standards.

The role sits in the Continuous Improvement pillar and ties QA insights to capability development. In this position you’ll own onboarding end-to-end, partner with Scheme Specialists, and help reduce non-conformance via

Job description

Once For All is a high-growth, cloud-based, SaaS subscription business. Our technology helps our customers to manage their supply chain governance, risk management and compliance. We work across public and private sector and have over 250k customers across the UK across 20 different sectors including construction, transport, retail, hospitality education, facility and property management, manufacturing, local and central government.

Role Summary

The Scheme Trainer is responsible for making sure every employee involved in verifications and assessments has the knowledge, skills and confidence to do their job to a consistently high standard. The role designs, delivers and continuously improves training on our schemes and assessment processes face to face, virtual and refresher including any legally required training in line with assessment standards.

This role sits within the Continuous Improvement pillar led by the Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager. Rather than training being static or set and forget, the Scheme Trainer takes insight from QA data, rejection rates, complaints and training outcomes, and feeds it directly back into what and how the business is trained closing the loop between quality findings and capability.

Job Responsibilities

Day to day, the role will:

Design and deliver training on verifications and assessments to all employees, using a range of formats and styles, face to face, virtual, e-learning and written content, to suit different audiences and learning needs, including designing training so it is accessible to different learning styles and neurodivergent learners.
Deliver face-to-face training and refresher training across the business, including any legally required or scheme-mandated training in line with assessment standards (e.g. SSIP, ISO and other relevant scheme rules).
Keep all training content accurate and up to date, reviewing and revising materials in line with scheme, legislative and process changes, and retiring outdated content promptly.
Provide and upload accurate, up-to-date content for the Learning Management System (LMS), assign training, and report on completion and compliance.
Provide tracking and oversight of training compliance across the business, monitoring completion rates and refresher cycles, and escalating gaps or overdue training.
Host online internal webinars with other areas of the business on changes affecting compliance, schemes and assessment standards.
Take insight from QA data, rejection rates, complaints and training outcomes, and translate it into targeted, updated training content as part of the Continuous Improvement pillar.
Work closely with the Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager and Continuous Improvement Specialists to ensure training is a direct, measurable lever for reducing non-conformance and improving quality.
Own the employee onboarding process end to end, partnering with management and Scheme Specialists to design and deliver a clear, structured onboarding plan with defined milestones and measurable success criteria.
Monitor progress throughout the onboarding period, proactively identifying, highlighting and escalating blockers in a timely manner where they may put an employee’s successful sign-off at risk.
Build and maintain partnerships with Subject Matter Experts across Scheme Governance, Quality and Compliance to ensure training content is technically accurate.
Support the rollout of new schemes, features and processes with timely, well-prepared training materials and sessions.
Travel internationally 2–3 times per year, for periods of up to two weeks, to deliver training to overseas teams and stakeholders.
