Job summary

Swanton Care & Community Ltd in Bishop Auckland is seeking a Scheme Manager to lead a care team across multiple locations. You will coordinate care services, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality support for service users.

The role requires travel between Bishop Auckland and Shildon and involves on-call cover. The ideal candidate has care management experience, holding or working toward an NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week and shift cover may be required when on call

About you

Do you have previous experience working in care, managing a team and want to use these skills to develop further and take the lead?

You will need

• Previous care management experience, preferably within a supported living environment
• Hold or be working towards a NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or have a suitable alternative qualification
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all
• Evidence that you can provide inspiring, motivational, clear, and supportive leadership
• The ideal candidate will be able to drive due to the needs of the service
