Qualifications

  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Travel is a requirement of the role; therefore a full valid driving licence is essential.

Sanctuary manages rented and shared ownership homes and supports community initiatives for thousands of customers across England. Our staff help make a real difference to the quality of people’s lives.

Location: Stoke on Trent

Salary: £23,682 - £24,414 per year

Hours: 35 hours per week

Role: Scheme Manager – Sanctuary Independent Living Service, based in Leek. The main purpose of this role is to encourage residents to maintain their well-being and independence and to support the delivery of high quality, safe and value for money housing management services that meet customer and organisational objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting residents by providing information to promote independence, good health and wellbeing
  • Completing mandatory compliance tasks along with health and safety checks
  • Reporting and monitoring repairs to conclusion, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
  • Delivering high quality customer service by resolving problems and complaints
  • Providing administrative support, including maintaining accurate records in a timely manner
  • Completing Sign Ups, Terminations, Settling in Visits
  • Covering other schemes as and when required
Skills and experience
  • Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths
  • Proven experience of working with older people and understanding their individual needs or similar
  • Ability to work alone and manage workloads to meet deadlines
  • Working knowledge of handling confidential and sensitive information
