Job summary

Griffon Marine Ltd. is seeking an experienced Scheduler to plan and coordinate production schedules using the company ERP system. The role requires close collaboration with shipyard, design, procurement, stores and sales to ensure on-time delivery and optimal resource use.

You will monitor daily progress, adjust plans as needed and analyze ERP data to identify delays or bottlenecks, proposing practical improvements and generating regular performance reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a scheduling role within a manufacturing or project environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent teamwork.
• Desirable: experience using Epicor ERP for scheduling.

Job description

To plan, manage and coordinate scheduling activities using the company’s ERP system, with responsib ility for planning, tracking, and updating schedules to ensure the efficient and timely execution of operational workflows. This role plays a key part in ensuring resources are effectively allocated and deadlines are met across departments.

Objectives

• De velop and maintain accurate production, project and service schedules using the company’s ERP system.
• Coordinate with departments such as shipyard, design, procurement, stores, and sales to ensure alignment with scheduling priorities.
• Monitor daily progress and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand, resource availability, or operational constraints.
• Analyse ERP-generated data to identify delays, bottlenecks, or inefficiencies, and recommend solutions.
• Generate and distribute reports on scheduling performance, delivery timelines, and resource utilisation.
• Ensure that scheduling information in the ERP system is accurate, current and complete.
• Participate in regular planning meetings and communicate schedule updates to planning supervisor and team
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by contributing to process optimisation and best practices.
• Identify material constraints and liaise with relevant departments, including Procurement, to ensure timely availability of materials and minimise disruption to schedules.
• Identify overloaded capacity and reschedule to meet job completion dates to ensure on time delivery.

Experience/Qualifications

• Desirable: Minimum 5 years’ experience using Epicor ERP for scheduling, or equivalent ERP System Experience.
