Job summary

easyJet holidays is seeking a Schedule Design Manager to lead the design of our future schedule. You will guide a team of analysts and planners, balancing long‑term value with operational resilience across the planning cycle.

You will own end-to-end design, turn data into clear options, and drive governance and continuous improvement within a collaborative Scheduling function.

We support hybrid working, and you'll spend 60% of your time each month in the office.

You see the whole network, make sense of competing priorities and turn complexity into a schedule that performs.

You combine commercial judgement with operational thinking, lead confidently through demanding planning cycles and bring people together around clear, evidence led decisions.

The opportunity

As Schedule Design Manager, you'll lead the design and development of easyJet’s future schedule, balancing long term value, strategic priorities and operational resilience throughout the planning cycle.

You'll guide a team of design analysts, lead planners and planners as they assess options, resolve conflicts and build coherent schedule solutions from inputs across Network, Commercial, Operations, Crew, Slots, easyJet holidays and the wider Scheduling function.

The Scheduling Team

The team & culture

You'll be part of the extended Scheduling leadership team, working closely with colleagues across Research & Development, Analytics, Delivery and Slot Policy. The culture is collaborative, analytical and open to constructive challenge, with a shared focus on improving how schedule decisions are made and delivered.

You'll lead a diverse team of analysts and planners, creating the conditions for innovation, continuous improvement and strong performance while keeping easyJet’s values and people wellbeing at the heart of how the team works.

What you'll be doing

You'll develop and recommend schedule solutions that maximise expected long term value while protecting operational resilience and supporting easyJet’s strategic portfolio.

You'll lead critical schedule scenarios and milestones, including peak, shoulder and full season builds, turning detailed analysis into clear options, trade-offs and recommendations.

You'll own the end to end schedule design and expansion process, from agreed inputs and iterations through validation, decision, sign off and controlled handover. You'll set clear governance, quality standards, review points and escalation routes so decisions remain traceable and timelines stay on track.

You'll improve schedule design methods and ways of working, define the evidence expected behind decisions and partner with data and systems teams on the tools and capabilities that support better planning.

Requirements of the Role

What we're looking for

You're highly numerate and analytical, with the strategic judgement to weigh commercial value, network performance and operational resilience. You can strip complex problems back to what matters and make clear recommendations when priorities compete.

You're an organised, delivery focused leader who can manage business critical work against challenging deadlines. You stay calm under pressure, communicate analysis fluently and build support for decisions across different teams and senior stakeholders.

You'll bring experience across airline or aviation functions, with strong knowledge of Network, Operations or Scheduling. You understand the data used in commercial and operational planning and how governance, quality controls and optimisation support robust business decisions.

Previous people management experience is essential. You know how to motivate and develop analysts and planners, encourage constructive challenge and create a team environment where people can perform at their best.
